AMI Montessori Educator (Ages 0–3)
My name is Pham Kha Tu, and I graduated from the Faculty of Education, Saigon University. I have more than 10 years of experience working with children aged 2.5–6 as a Montessori educator and completed the AMI Montessori 0–3 Teacher Training program in 2024. Following this training, I chose to work as an assistant for infants and toddlers (ages 0–3), as I firmly believe this stage to be the “foundation of life.”
The AMI 0–3 training provided me not only with professional knowledge and practical skills, but also with a deep spiritual and philosophical foundation. I was especially inspired by the dedication of the trainers and their emphasis on the critical importance of early childhood. I aspire to accompany, support, and respect each step of a child’s development during these meaningful early years.
In addition to my teaching role, I actively participate as a volunteer in programs that connect, share, and promote Montessori education through collaborative initiatives with educational centers. These programs allow me to share knowledge on early childhood education while also providing opportunities to exchange experiences with fellow educators, parents, and individuals interested in the Montessori approach. Through such involvement, I contribute to spreading the core values of Montessori education and fostering strong, connected educational communities.
For instance, I have participated in programs at local Montessori centers where educators engage in discussions on preparing learning environments for young children and encouraging independence from the earliest years. I have also supported parent-sharing programs, helping families better understand the importance of respecting children’s natural development and how to thoughtfully accompany them throughout their learning journey.
Beyond teaching and volunteer work, I am committed to continuous learning and regularly participate in professional development courses to expand my knowledge. I also enjoy personal interests such as traveling, yoga, swimming, and music. These activities help me maintain positive energy, personal balance, and ongoing inspiration as I continue to grow in my educational career.
