the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training (DOET), in coordination with Montessori Vietnam Education (MVEC), hosted the session at Tiny Flower Montessori, 5 Street No. 23, Tan Phu Ward, District 7, Ho Chi Minh City.
Montessori Vietnam Education (MVEC) was honored to welcome senior representatives from the Ho Chi Minh City DOET, leaders of district-level Departments of Education and Training, and the City’s Early Childhood Education Quality Assurance Committee from all 24 districts. Distinguished attendees included Ms. Bùi Thị Diễm Thu, Deputy Director of the DOET; Ms. Lương Thị Hồng Điệp, Head of the Early Childhood Education Division; Ms. Lý Thị Sương, Deputy Head of the Early Childhood Education Division; Ms. Bùi Thị Băng Tuyết, Specialist of the Early Childhood Education Division; and Ms. Nguyễn Thị Uyên Phương, Specialist of the Early Childhood Education Division, together with representatives from early childhood divisions across the 24 districts and the City’s Early Childhood Education Quality Assurance Committee.
Ms. Lhamo Pemba—an international Montessori trainer from the Montessori Training Center of New England (MTCNE) and the Association Montessori Internationale (AMI)—delivered a presentation to help early childhood education leaders deepen their understanding of the Montessori approach, a progressive educational philosophy that has garnered significant attention around the world.
As part of the program, delegates and guests toured Montessori classrooms at Tiny Flower Montessori that meet AMI standards, serving children from birth to 3 years and from 3 to 6 years.
Montessori Vietnam Education (MVEC) sincerely thanks the leadership of the Ho Chi Minh City DOET, representatives from the early childhood education divisions of all 24 districts, the City’s Early Childhood Education Quality Assurance Committee, and the AMI trainer for their support in making this working session a success.
