Ms. Doan Thi Luyen is a Montessori educator holding AMI Montessori teaching certifications for the 0–3 and 3–6 age groups. Montessori education has offered her a profound and humanistic perspective on children—one that recognizes each child as an independent individual with the innate capacity to explore and develop when nurtured in a prepared and respectful environment.
After completing the Montessori Teacher Training (3–6) program at the Montessori Center in Thailand, she continued her professional journey by pursuing the AMI Montessori 0–3 Teacher Training program at Montessori Vietnam Education Center (MVEC) during 2023–2024.
This learning journey has deepened her understanding of early childhood—the foundational stage for children’s holistic development, encompassing physical, emotional, and psychological well-being. In addition to her teaching role, Ms. Doan Thi Luyen actively serves as a volunteer, accompanying and supporting initiatives that share and promote Montessori values within the community. She collaborates with Montessori centers in professional networking activities, knowledge-sharing programs, and educational support for parents and educators.
For her, Montessori is not merely an educational method, but a way of seeing and engaging with life—one rooted in deep respect for children.
Currently, she works at Ukio, District 7, where she continues to accompany children and families in an early childhood environment guided by Montessori principles. Being present with children each day, observing their small steps of progress and natural growth, is her greatest source of joy and motivation in her educational journey.
She believes that educating children is a continuous learning process—not only for children, but also for educators themselves. Ongoing reflection, creativity, and love, she believes, are the keys to supporting children’s holistic development and nurturing them to become responsible members of society.
