TOUCHING MONTESSORI – WHERE THE JOURNEY OF FUTURE EDUCATORS BEGINS
In a warm and uplifting atmosphere, we were delighted to welcome students from the Faculty of Early Childhood Education – Ho Chi Minh City University of Education. On the morning of April 15, 2026, our school opened its doors not only to visitors, but also to kindred spirits who share a passion for education, coming together to explore the Montessori method in a vivid and authentic way.
The session unfolded in a friendly and joyful setting, where theory stepped beyond the pages and came to life through hands-on experiences. The students had the opportunity to directly engage with the “Prepared Environment” – a space where every corner is thoughtfully and scientifically arranged, and each learning material is designed to support children during their “Absorbent Mind” stage.
The Montessori environment brought everyone together through meaningful and heartfelt professional discussions. Students and experienced teachers exchanged insights on respecting the unique developmental pace of each child. Notably, the concept of “freedom within discipline” was clearly demonstrated as children independently chose their activities, thereby developing autonomy, confidence, and self-regulation.
Observing children deeply engaged with materials in Practical Life, Sensorial, and Mathematics areas, the future educators gained a deeper understanding of the message: “Help me do it myself.” In this journey, the teacher plays the role of a quiet guide—carefully observing and offering support at the right moment to help each child reach their full potential.
This visit not only provided practical knowledge but also nurtured a love for the profession and ignited passion in each student. It served as a meaningful bridge between theory and practice, empowering them to confidently pursue a humanistic approach to education—where every child is respected, understood, and supported to grow in their own unique way.
