TRAINING DIRECTOR – VIETNAM MONTESSORI EDUCATION CENTER (MVEC)

Ms. Tran Thanh Hien currently serves as the Training Director of the Vietnam Montessori Education Center (MVEC). She is a Montessori educator holding AMI International Montessori Teaching Diplomas for two developmental levels: 0–3 and 3–6, along with specialized qualifications in school leadership and administration.

With more than two decades dedicated to Montessori education in Vietnam, she is a researcher, educator, and an active connector between the Vietnamese Montessori community and the international Montessori community through the AMI Community of Practice (COP–AMI). Since 2013, in her role as Director of MVEC, she has continuously contributed to the development of Montessori teacher training, professional growth, and the advancement of authentic Montessori education aligned with international standards.

Beyond her role in teacher education, Ms. Tran Thanh Hien is the Founder and Chairwoman of the Board of Tiny Flower Montessori School, established in 2006. Through her long-term vision and dedication to children’s education, she has contributed to building a high-quality, humane, and sustainable Montessori learning environment for children in Vietnam.

Currently, she serves as the Project Director of the Vietnamese Montessori Language Materials Project, a collaborative initiative between MVEC and AMI – Montessori Training Center Northeast (United States). The project focuses on researching, developing, and standardizing Vietnamese Montessori language materials to support the Montessori community both nationally and internationally.

As an educator, researcher, and educational leader, Ms. Tran Thanh Hien is committed to building a professional Montessori community connected with international standards and dedicated to sustainable development in Vietnam. Through her leadership, expertise, and long-term commitment, she continues to nurture future generations of Montessori educators and contribute to the creation of respectful, meaningful, and human-centered learning environments for children.
