Summary of the AMI Montessori Teacher Training Course 0-3, Module 2
The event was honored to welcome the distinguished presence of Ms. Sharlyn M. Smith – AMI Montessori Training Director, Professor at Loyola University (USA), AMI International Examiner, along with all the course participants.
Module 2 was more than just a course; it was a profound journey of discovery into the philosophy and methodology of Montessori education. Under the dedicated guidance of Ms. Sharlyn M. Smith, participants had the opportunity to explore valuable professional knowledge, from a deep understanding of early childhood psychology and designing an ideal learning environment to creating educational activities suitable for each developmental stage of children aged 0-3 years.
Ms. Sharlyn's lectures were not only rich in knowledge but also deeply inspiring, allowing participants to appreciate the profound humanistic values embedded in the Montessori philosophy. This was not just theoretical learning but a precious foundation for practical application, contributing to the growth and expansion of Montessori education in Vietnam.
The success of this course is the result of close collaboration between several organizations: Montessori Vietnam Education (MVEC), the Association Montessori Internationale (AMI), the Montessori Training Center Northeast (MTCNE), and the wholehearted dedication of Ms. Sharlyn M. Smith. Particularly, the perseverance and commitment of the participants have made this educational journey deeply meaningful and impactful.
