Mrs. Veronica Burbano is an AMI-certified International Montessori Trainer for the 3–6 age level, with over 16 years of experience in Montessori education.
She has taught at the GVSU Lab School in Michigan, where she earned her AMI certification, and previously worked as a Spanish language specialist and assistant teacher at Amherst Montessori School in Massachusetts.
Following her training, Ms. Burbano developed a bilingual Casa de Niños program and spent more than 10 years guiding children, supporting families, and mentoring new assistants.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Marketing (with a concentration in Organizational Communication) from Universidad San Francisco de Quito, and a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Grand Valley State University.
Currently, Mrs. Burbano serves as a Montessori consultant for GCLL and leads workshops and seminars in both the United States and South America.
As a mother of two, both her son and daughter have benefited from a Montessori education. She frequently returns to her home country, Ecuador, to reconnect with family and community.
