Mrs. Diwo Lhamo Pemba is an AMI-certified International Montessori Trainer (3–6 level) with over 20 years of experience in teaching and teacher education.
Born in Bhutan and currently based in the United States, Ms. Pemba holds the AMI Primary Diploma (working with children aged 2.5–6) from the Maria Montessori Training Centre, London (UK), and the AMI Assistants to Infancy Diploma (working with children from birth to 3 years) from The Montessori Institute of Denver, Colorado (USA).
With more than 30 years dedicated to education, Ms. Pemba has been instrumental in establishing the first AMI diploma and certificate courses in countries such as Morocco, Egypt, Vietnam, Indonesia, and Mongolia. She has also conducted numerous AMI training programs and workshops across the United States, Africa, and Asia.
