AMI Montessori Educator (Ages 0–3)
My name is Lieu Thi Huyen Hao. I graduated from the Central College of Education, Ho Chi Minh City, and I currently work as an AMI Montessori Educator for children aged 0–3. In my teaching practice, I consistently follow Montessori philosophy as my guiding principle, placing strong emphasis on observation, respecting each child’s individual developmental rhythm, and creating opportunities for children to freely explore and develop their inherent potential.
I am particularly dedicated to building a safe, experience-rich learning environment—one in which children are not only supported academically, but also nurtured emotionally while developing independence and social skills. I firmly believe that education in the early years plays a foundational role, shaping children’s character and patterns of thinking in later life.
Beyond my teaching responsibilities, I actively participate as a volunteer in programs that connect, share, and promote Montessori education in collaboration with educational centers. These initiatives provide valuable opportunities for knowledge sharing and experience exchange among educators, parents, and individuals interested in early childhood education.
For example, I have taken part in Montessori-led workshops where educators discuss the preparation of appropriate learning environments, the selection of learning materials, and effective ways to observe and support children’s natural development. I have also participated in parent-sharing programs, helping families better understand the importance of respecting each child’s unique developmental path and how to create safe, stimulating environments that foster creativity and independence.
Through these activities, I have not only continued to learn from fellow educators, but also contributed to raising community awareness of Montessori education. These exchanges have deepened my understanding of early childhood education while allowing me to connect with others who share the same passion for supporting young children.
Outside of teaching and volunteer work, I enjoy swimming and spending time at the beach. These activities help me maintain physical well-being, restore balance, and renew positive energy—enabling me to remain fully present and committed to my work in early childhood education.
ese activities help me maintain good health, find balance, and renew positive energy — allowing me to continue dedicating myself wholeheartedly to early childhood education.”
