AMI 0–3 Assistant Trainer
Ms. Kavya Chandrasekhar is an AMI 0–3 Assistant Trainer with more than 20 years of experience in Montessori education, supporting teachers, schools, and educational communities in India and around the world.
She holds the complete set of AMI Diplomas across all four levels of Montessori education: Assistants to Infancy (0–3) from the United States, Primary (3–6) from India, Elementary (6–12) from London, and Adolescent (12–18) from the United States, providing her with a comprehensive understanding of child development from birth through adolescence.
Ms. Chandrasekhar currently serves as Executive Director of the Montessori Institute of Bangalore (MIB) and is the founder of The Montessori School & Kriyasthala, one of India's pioneering Montessori schools offering a continuous Montessori pathway from birth to 18 years.
In addition to her leadership roles, she is a member of the AMI Training of Trainers Programme (0–3), actively contributing to teacher education, consulting on authentic AMI learning environments, and supporting Montessori program development in countries across the world.
Her experience across every stage of Montessori education, together with her work as a school leader and teacher educator, has shaped a training approach that connects Montessori philosophy with effective classroom practice and the evolving needs of educators.
Through her teaching, mentoring, and professional consultancy, Ms. Chandrasekhar continues to strengthen the global Montessori community by promoting learning environments that respect each child's natural development and unique potential.
